The fantastic spring colors and textures of native plants are preparing their theatric annual entrance. Tuscaloosa residents can cultivate their drawing and painting skills this spring, possibly to record the theatre of life, by signing up for art lessons.
Beginning Colored Pencil Drawing
1-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27-May 1 at the PARA Phelps Center
Instructor Diana Francko will guide you through the process of depicting the world in colored pencils. The cost is $65, though I'm not sure if this is for session or for the entire course. Supplies needed are 120 count or larger set of Prismacolor pencils and an electric pencil sharpener.
Watercolor painting
Evening session 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24-May 29, at the Miller Center
Day session 10 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, April 25-May 30, at the Phelps Center
